Our body is built on movement from the smallest structure to the largest. Cells move, tissues and organs move. Systems move with the functioning of organs. This movement, on the other hand, serves only one truth, life.
Even a momentary cessation of movement sets off the alarm bells. Because movement is a necessity of activity and activities are a necessity of life.
Movement is the primary condition of the realm of existence. It is a fiction that covers the entire universe, from cells to tissues, from tissues to systems, from systems to the whole body, and from stars to galaxies. For this reason, anything that does not move is also contrary to universal laws.
In a structure designed on this degree of movement, movement is inevitable for the perfection of joint and muscle activities. But unfortunately, the biggest danger brought by the new life format is still life. We go to the nearest place with our vehicle, we see moving during the day as torture. Even on weekends, we went into a completely inactive process.
What happens in a sedentary lifestyle?
A life away from movement brings with it vicious circles chasing each other like dominoes. The muscles of the body that do not move make the fascia structure that surrounds the muscles and organs dysfunctional, and this process takes organ and cell activities away from their existing functions.
This creates patterns and new patterns in our body. When the fascia sections that we do not use and the joint and muscle structures connected to it do not function, it initiates the disease processes in the relevant systems and sections. In fact, the majority of cartilage damage is due to inactivity.
The biggest symptoms of sedentary life are hernias. Let's create a simple waist and neck hernia model. In an irregular and immobile body structure, the relevant fascia fibrous section will harden and form knots. Hardening and knots are also reflected in this part of the fascia as a lack of stretch. The balance between the flexible part and the non-flexible part is disturbed and this deterioration spreads to the joints. As a result of this scenario, we begin to experience problems such as back and neck hernia and neck flattening.
Another problem caused by sedentary life is energy blockages. While there is an increase in energy in some sections due to blockages, decreases and inadequacies are observed in some systems. Accordingly, body parts with blockages lose their associated functions. Bile and liver blockages cause digestive problems, bladder blockages cause urinary tract problems, and large intestine and lung blockages cause respiratory and intestinal problems.
When we look briefly at the above, in fact, sedentary life is an important factor in the formation of new set points. Accordingly, it seems to be the source of many problems, and many health problems from heart problems to circulatory disorders, from Alzheimer's to vertigo are associated with sedentary life.
Let's not forget that; As the elders say, there is abundance and healing in movement.
