Ultrasound Treatment

Ultrasound is an effective treatment method used to reduce muscle spasms and pain by using mechanical effect and sound energy. It is among the most frequently used treatments due to its deep and superficial warmth and pain-relieving effects. It is used by applying sound waves and mechanical pressure to the body at the determined frequency and pressure intensity. Ultrasound used for treatment is obtained by a method called piezo-electricity. In the ultrasound application, heat is generated as the waves are absorbed. Heat has a stronger effect on the surfaces of tissues such as fat, muscle and periosteum. The increase in temperature in the tissues increases cell activation.

It causes an increase in blood flow by creating vasodilation during treatment. As a result of increased metabolism, it provides the excretion of metabolites. This reduces inflammation. Ultrasound waves cause pressure changes in the tissues, as a result of which the mechanical reactions in the tissue have a micromassage effect. Adhesions can be resolved by separating the collagen fibers from each other and softening the connective tissue. However, ultrasound; microscopically, it liberates the cell structure, accelerates blood production. It has an analgesic effect. It strengthens the autonomic nervous system and contributes to the healing of soft tissue injuries.

It takes part in the Ultrasound Regeneration stage in the RTM System. It takes place in the Supporting Systems processes in the treatment triad. It is effective on physical and electrical body structures. With Ultrasound applications in the RTM System, it is aimed to accelerate cell regeneration in the Physical Body, repair damaged tissue, accelerate blood circulation, support the circulatory system, and eliminate the irregularities existing in the Electrical Body with its effect on the Fascia.
